SYROBO announces INNO-ROBO, the 1st International tradeshow on Service Robotics in Lyon, France, in March 2011.
INNO-ROBO tradeshow, dedicated to the Service Robotics will open its doors for the 1st time in Europe at the Convention Center in the Cité internationale of Lyon, the 23rd, 24th & 25th of March 2011.
Service Robotics emerged within the last few years and shall be one of the major drivers of economical growth for the 21st Century.
« After the tool prolonging the Man’s hand, then the machine multiplying his strength, Man is now projecting his intelligence into objects. Robots will populate ours houses, schools and streets. It is a new step for Humanity» declares Bruno Bonnell, President of Syrobo.
If such shows already exist with success in Asia (South Korea and Japan) and in the States, it never happened yet in Europe. Syrobo, the French Service Robotics Trade Association in Europe, takes the initiative and demonstrates France and Europe competitiveness in a very promising sector in terms of innovation, job creation and economical growth for the next decades.
During 3 days, INNO-ROBO will demonstrate though concrete examples, thanks to the sharing of knowledge and entrepreneurial visions, why and how robotic technologies applied to products and services are a source of innovation and growth for many companies in various sectors of activity.
The main themes will be as follows:

Inno-Robo takes a special care on the networking of the attendees, whatever their contribution level to the event. Inno-Robo thus provides unique opportunities to meet and share with the people who create ideas which carry our future. Numerous attendees are expected: manufacturers & technology suppliers, project holders, national education organizations, research centers, buyers and distributors, RDI leaders in various fields of activity, investors... will meet each others to build useful contacts. Students in scientific & technical matters are also invited to join in, to discover what new jobs are being invented by robotics.
In partnership with LIFT, INNO-ROBO ideally combines an exhibition and demonstration area – 2500 m2 with a 100 booths, together with a high end conferences cycle on 3 days - ROBOLIFT – Conferences will draft present and future perspectives on service robotics for our society through keynotes held by famous international speakers.
In partnership with Thésame, the European meeting of Mecatronics will animate workshops in small committees to go deeper into each of the themes approached by the conferences.
